Hi All, This may have been covered before; but as a new member, I thought I would ask I did the EGR conversion on Friday and fitted the 9mm gasket. Smooth running was a lot better. I drove to Bradford today and the engine management light came on; on the way home. I assume that it will have something to do with me fiddling with the EGR. Before I get ripped off at a garage, if the plug in system reads an error code message for the EGR, can the sensor be fooled into thinking that all is well, with the new gasket. thanks RAG

Hi All, Just read Matt's really good update for all newbies on useful mods for Fabia Mk1 VRS. Could someone compile a list of acronyms for some of the entries too. ie RARB rear anti roll bar etc. Not sure what things like Pikey are? Can anyone out there assist please? RAG

Hi, Thanks everyone. Fitted the 9mm gasket to the EGR yesterday and cleaned all the carbon off the unit. What a difference its made to the smooth running of the car. Air intake is the next mod RAG

Hi Members I am a new member and I am sure, this question will have been asked; but here goes. I live in Cheshire and I am looking at getting a re map done. I am sorting out the EGR mod this week and a fitting a forced induction kit. However I wondered if any members have used Awesome GTI for re-map or any suggestions for re map workshops close to my area; that they can recommend? I am looking for increase in power and economy Thanks RAG

Hi, New member joined today. I am in the Cheshire area and have just bought a 2007 Fabia VRS in Red, I have previously owned 3 Felicia's; a tuned 1.3 and a group n car. Looking for info on tuning and parts for the VRS. Which air induction system and local re map firms etc RAG
