  1. Normally tomorrow would be fine, but unusually I'm working. Could do Sunday if that's any good to you?
  2. Yeah on the SE. On the SE Tech it comes with the the top ones (Triton) as standard, no option for bottom ones.
  3. Top ones for me. Bit more detail to them. Aren't the top ones the wheels the SE Tech comes with as standard?
  4. Great review. Nice to see an SE spec car too. Any interior pics?
  5. Kumho are pretty decent, mid range tyre. I've used them in the past. just my input into this thread: My wife drives a 1.4 Astra which would struggle to pull you out of bed on a cold morning, she doesn't drive fast and doesn't hoon it about the bends. I still gave it a new set of Goodyear tyres when it needed them. Why? Because it carries her and my daughter about (and me at the weekend) and because in my opinion, it's not about 'well if you don't drive fast, you don't need premium tyres' - it's about the ability of that tyre to help you out if you hit a sudden patch of standing water or have to brake hard or swerve out the way for any reason. I will never fit budget tyres. It's just something I won't do.
  6. Any need for that? It doesn't even make sense. Anyway, back on topic - I've been using Autoglym Ultimate Screenwash lately. Halfords have had it on sale lately for £2.95 for 500ml. With a trade card it was £2.21. Not as cheap as some other products, but works really well. No smearing, suitable for fan jets and nice smell.

It's not like they've never built a car before! They've also been building the Kodiaq (essentially a 7-seater Karoq) and the Ateca for Seat. Snagging issues aside, I think you're overreacting on the worry front.
  8. I've thought this too. Hoping the production versions will have a normal pull down arm-rest and load hatch. As you say, increased noise would be the main thing for me. Even cold air coming in from the boot area too.
  9. The dealer I visited had the little spheres of all the different colours. It actually looks quite nice, IMO, much nice than the standard blue that the Octavia comes in.
  10. Excellent news. Im still waiting on word back about mine. Hoping dealer isn't stringing me along. Last I heard, they hadn't received a build date as yet.
  11. I'm still waiting on my bw details from dealer. Was told I'd get a call last week so I'm hoping that I've not heard anything as dealer doesn't know anything yet. When I quoted some of the dates etc I'd heard on here, he said they hadn't been given any lead times by Skoda yet.
  12. Excellent news. Though you'll be hoping the Czech workers aren't too hungover after the new year celebrations. I'm expecting a call this week too.
  13. That's a great comparison sheet. That was one of the things that put me off a Yeti - size of the boot. Karoq is much better in that respect, yet not much longer.
