  1. I got mine from my local skoda dealer. It was two kits, The wheel on its own is one kit which you have already and other kit is the boot floor, boxes and tools. There were 3 versions FWD, 4X4 and diesel models with Ad-blue, I have read somewhere that skoda might have simplified things and now its just one kit fits all.
  2. Hi RodDuggan, Thanks for the update. I remember the issues you mention about the destination memory but figured a way round it though. Mine carried on installing from where it left off so it took few journeys to complete.
  3. Mine came with V4 installed and I updated it to V9 about 3 years ago. Please would you let me know how you get on with V12.

My battery would have been £13 dearer at Advanced battery supplies.

I bought my battery from Tayna last year, a company I'd never heard of before I read about it on here and they are excellent! I got an "027 Varta silver top 63Ah". It was on my doorstep for £67 and yes the Varta is the same as the Bosch.
  6. The bonnet latch has a micro switch built in. some have a mechanical switch that can get gummed up with grease/grime on some other car forums (including Mercedes) there has been success by cleaning them. You could do a test by disconnecting the elec connector plug from the loom and link across the terminals to mimic the bonnet is closed to see if the switch is at fault. NOTE! If you do this you must close the bonnet before operating the wipers!!!!!!!!!!
  7. The individual strands in those cables look very straight and parallel which makes them stiffer because of the stretch one side and compression on the opposite side. Similar to when you bend a tube it stiff until it kinks. If the cables are expected to flex in service then the strands need to be twisted inside like rope.
  8. I am assuming you you need each brush so they stay in place while you put the rotor shaft in. Example make a couple of clips or pins to hold in the brushes with the springs compressed that you can retrieve after the shaft is inserted.
  9. We need a photo. You might need to rig up an installation utensil.
  10. Glad you can get it sorted, If you fit MPH with KMH that would be a good upgrade!
  11. That's certainly unusual. At the IoM TT the scrutineers check the Schrader valves have got the shorter core fitted (less centrifugal force) and sealed dust-caps because they can deflate at "double ton plus" speeds. Those consequences are bad for your health!
  12. Hi IsoChris, Your last post about getting them fully refurbed sounds like the way to go and cheaper than new rims I've found that the goo migrates getting squeezed out and then you have the tyre bead on the bare rough corrosion. I've re-lacquered rims but after a while and a bit more corrosion they started to leak underneath the lacquer.
  13. J.R. I think it's worth a call and speak to them at least, as the images may be just images. I think mine is also 80mph at mid-day (12 o'clock)
  14. Misse, Just out of curiosity I did a quick search and this came up! Replacement dials background kits for diy and/or fitting services. So the answer to your question in your first post is 'YES' and these people are in Somerset. Link KMH-MPH | Home | Speedo Conversions | Speedometer Conversion Somerset
  15. Is the main speedo (Dial) marked in Miles or Km's or both? in the UK they are Miles only. and is the digital speedo reading Km's or Miles? in the UK they read Km's and the only way to swap it is to have the car programmed to Australian settings. Rear fog lamps, only one can be used and they are not programable. If you want to swap from left to right then you need to disconnect the wire from the left and extend the wire to connect to the right.
  16. I have the RNS315 in my March 2014. Down load the maps on to your unit the card is programmed to become paired and locked to your device, so nobody else can use or copy it. Once downloaded remove and keep the SDcard safe so if anything bad happens you can download it again. Then you can insert an other SDcard with your music on.
  17. Here is the facelift brochure 2014 Pages 20 & 26 say the draw was standard on models above SE. So unless it was an optional extra only Elegance, SE L and L&K models have them. brochure_yeti2014.pdf
  18. The City model was not available as 4x4.
  19. If you have a warning triangle then there are two places to store it. a) held by the 2 rubber straps below the boot lock striker plate. b) in the righthand storage box, it fits over the top of the towball, there are triangles moulded into the surface.
  20. I put LED's in my reversing lights. The bulb warning always came up, The light was just a white glare compared to the normal bulb colour and they didn't offer any extra help for reversing into my dark driveway.
  21. Where was the chippy? I know Stockport pretty well but I don't recognise the table top
  22. NWT fitted my Witter fixed towbar, they did a neat job and everything electrical worked perfectly.
  23. RickT replied to Clive's topic in Skoda Yeti
Spare wheels were only fitted as a factory fitted option or if the previous owner bought the after market kit. None of the Yeti have a wheel well, the well is formed by fitting the raised boot floor kit.
  24. RickT replied to scooterboyt5's topic in Skoda Yeti
Hi welcome to the Yeti world. I have a Witter fixed towbar with a 2bolt flanged ball, single dedicated electrics kit. Cost me about £320 fitted and programmed.
  25. We need a photo 🤣 I think the new tailgate looks better than the old one. There wont be many like yours knocking about so you should enjoy your designer Yeti.
