  1. The name of the wheel is "Spitzberg"
  2. While it's cold have a old Marmite jar filled with warm water the shape fits nicely in your hand so it keeps your dainty sticky mitts warm🤣 Real men like Marmite🤣but if you don't, then I have a plentiful supply and could send you one!
  3. Hi, There wasn't an option from Skoda for any Yeti's, I don't know anybody who has done this but this link may be some help. Door/Hatch Openers Archives - BAS (basnw.co.uk)
  4. That is the Elegance spec. same as mine and I am well chuffed with it. The Satnav, Spare wheel, Alcantara suede trim and Tyre pressure monitoring were optional extras.
  5. Oh dear sounds like Arthritis has set in🤣
  6. One thing is certain! Your passenger will not give you wrong directions.🤣
  7. Yes there's two mine, I reckon they could be stuck together, its couple of years ago since I opened mine and I think were stuck together.
  8. You may need to use a bit of sticky stuff to hold the two magnetic strips in position. The batteries have a habit of repositioning them 🤣
  9. On mine the both the normal boot-light and torch-light switch off as soon as the tailgate is closed.
  10. I got a "Creader 3001" You can get for less than £20 no subscriptions and it can be updated online. more info here; Automotive OBD Code Reader OBD2 Scanner Car Check Engine Fault Diagnostic Tool | eBay
  11. You might need to reset the rear windows as well.
  12. Seems the so called mechanic can only talk a good job but should have his arms cut off at the elbows.🤬
  13. I'm pretty sure mine has and I have a new set of pads with sensor wires attached but I've not changed the pads yet.
  14. Hopefully you have it for keeps now. I don't how it could have gone missing as you say there is no option to change it during normal use, so it can't be done by mistake either. Glad you have got it sorted. 👍
  15. If it has been loose for a while and the mating surfaces have become worn then it will keep coming loose. The alloy component should be a snug fit on the shaft with no rotational movement even without the nut. The nut is there to keep it on. If there is any rotational movement then it can turn underneath the nut and keep undoing it. If you loc-tite the nut it may stay on but the the parts could still move and continue to wear until completely unusable. So nothing missing its just unfortunate it came loose for the first time.
  16. Yep, I reckon Kenny R's answer above has confirmed it in more detail for you. Rick.
  17. 195 x 60 r16 is the smallest legal spare for all Yeti's. The rim size is 6.0J x 16. 5x112, ET50 The circumference is near the same but a narrower tyre so it sits lower in the boot.
  18. Yes about 2 hours, My saved destinations were unaffected and working as before. Though it wasn't like that when I updated from V4 to V9 they were still listed but wouldn't plan any routes.
  19. I've recently installed V12 in my RNS315. You can take the key out and then it will continue where it left off when you put the key back in to turn it on.
  20. How do you slightly screw on the wheel bolts? Is it the same way you screw in your nuts? The authors shouldn't be allowed to write these instructions, if they can't fit a wheel or fit water in a bucket! Same when people say "just unloosen the bolt" Answer "How tight should it be?"
  21. I got mine from my local skoda dealer. It was two kits, The wheel on its own is one kit which you have already and other kit is the boot floor, boxes and tools. There were 3 versions FWD, 4X4 and diesel models with Ad-blue, I have read somewhere that skoda might have simplified things and now its just one kit fits all.
  22. Hi RodDuggan, Thanks for the update. I remember the issues you mention about the destination memory but figured a way round it though. Mine carried on installing from where it left off so it took few journeys to complete.
