Yeh im keen where ever in cornwall , further south better for me but happy to mission up to St Austell!!! Any weekday evening good for me!!! Also quick one about the rolling roads again , any ideas how much prices are??

alright, im down in hayle n keen for a meet!! also anyone know of anyone around that has a rolling road that can do readouts for cheap?? Brought my octavia vrs thats had loads of work done but not sure how much she putting out.....??

hi guys , so basicly , took my old sub out off my old car now putting it in the octavia, wired it all in , same as i did in the old car , but some reason it wont work, i have power and got the remote cable working fine so its on and off with my stereo, and i can get static nose from the sub by like touching the end of the cables , but nothing coming through ,,,, any ideas ????? i tried swapping swapping cables around and still nothing ????

Right will be pleased to know have finally sorted the problem , to my amazment it was the head unit, tried it in a mates car and nothing , tried the original HU and nothing as well , all sorted now though, worse easy job iv ever had ahaha cheers for all the help guys

will have a check of the other connection , the ignition cable , if thats fine any other ideas ?? cant see it being the cd player as this is now the 3rd one iv tried including the original one, so any ideas would be brilliant

to add even more fustration, checked the radio fuse , that was fine , checked with a multi meter, there is still power coming through , any more ideas??? also i do have 3 connectors , however guessing one is power input and earth etc. other one is speaker cables and then the 3rd one is the 6Disc changer in the back. so have plugged in the two that fit in the connector. which is the power one and speakers. stereo still dead :(

tried it again with the stereo out again , so nothing could get nudged out or anything , still not working :( im guessing its going to be either the earth or the power cable iv pulled out or broken , is there an easy way to test the cables ??

Hi all, basicly i brought a new stereo for my octavia , plugged it in , fine , unplugged it to fit it in properly , got it all sorted , plugged it back in and nothing, every now and then it will flash , just like the fuse has gone , but checked the fuse on the back and its fine , is there another fuse in the fuse box for the stereo ??? tried putting old one back in as well and that is completly dead as well???? any ideas ??

Hi all, so got my self some JOM coilies , any one no of any good threads on fitting them , got a fair idea just want to check , to add if there is any one that lives in the SW and fancies giving me a hand , make sure i dont miss anything, any help would be great , cheers guys

Well where i took it said that i would need a new CCM , is it a simple case of taking one out then popping a new one in?

Hi all , had some problems with central locking recently , consistantly unlocking its self, even when driving and parked up . so but it into my local garage , they plugged her in and have come back to me saying i need a new comfort control unit and that its guna cost me £210 plus VAT, well as you can imagine i was i bit shocked, any body help me out with a part number or know where i can find a cheap one, was planning on ebay or somewhere similar, any help ?????????????

Hi all , been looking at getting a new exhaust system for my 1.6 silver line , doesnt seem to be much out there though, any ideas ? also is it worth going for a full system on a 1.6, how much more would i get out of it ??? any help is great cheeers!

just got a 2003 octavia , upgrading from the good ol saxo, have noticed there seems to be alot less response from the throttle though , not sure if this is normal??? any ideas on what it could be ?

well have seen some K&N filters that are a cone filter, any1 know of the right one for that ? cheers for your help already guys

Hi , i have a octavia silverline 1.6 2003 and am confused to hell on what induction kit will fit ? one for the mk1 octavia looks like one to sit on top , how ever this couldnt fit under my bonnet , then the mk2 kit seems to stretch to the front which is where my battery is sat, any help ????
