The Greenline with 16" wheels on 205/55 has one of the highest side-wall profiles of all Yeti's,

Nope, the 215/60/16 has a significantly higher sidewall,

Read again, I said one of the highest side-walls, higher than any of the 17" wheels, that's why so many people tried to get 16" wheels fitted at build for a more comfortable ride

I am guessing the low side wall tyres are all part of the greenline being lower to the ground than the ordinary yeti to improve efficiency and fuel consumption?

The Greenline with 16" wheels on 205/55 has one of the highest side-wall profiles of all Yeti's, the diameter is about the same as Yeti's with 17" wheels.
The lowering is done in the suspension.

.I followed J.R.s tip but there are no obvious signs of damage / cracks in the drivers door loom....and the fact that all the electrics on the N/S are out (doors / mirror adjustment / heated mirror / alarm led) ..makes me suspect it is indeed the loom on that side

Is it a left hand drive? I thought the mirror adjustment and alarm LED were only on the right hand side drivers door.

Just don't expect them to last more than 6 months to a year. I speak from experience.

I have had them in the last 3 cars and 2 motorcycles and have replaced only one in my last motorcycle that I had for 14 years.

  5. If it was me in that predicament knowing the problems with the sunroof I would disconnect the motor and helicopter tape the sunroof up in the closed position.
You will still have a glass sunroof and blind.
