One of the DAB antennas is the heated rear window.

The later Amundsen 2 post October 2014 has to have the map SD card in all the time as it does not store the map internally.
-
I suspect the SD card slot is for media only and you need the maps on CD to upgrade.

I mean the one on the drivers door.

Have you checked the wiring in the rubber boot Is it a left hand drive? I thought the mirror adjustment and alarm LED were only on the right hand side drivers door.

I have had them in the last 3 cars and 2 motorcycles and have replaced only one in my last motorcycle that I had for 14 years.

If it was me in that predicament knowing the problems with the sunroof I would disconnect the motor and helicopter tape the sunroof up in the closed position. You will still have a glass sunroof and blind.

I thought I may have had to replace the battery on our Yeti this winter as it's now 9 years old but it's still performing fine. Just an aside Carista now has battery registration and a lot more things for the Yeti as well as running fuel pump prime. -
What infotainment system do you have, there's been no CD player since end of 2014!

Get the digitiser replaced by a specialist or if you are able just get a digitiser and replace on top of the present one, cost about £20, do NOT get Skoda to do it!. Read through this thread:

Have you watched the voltage (best with a tester in the 12v socket between seats) to see if anything happens when it loses the rear drive? -
There is a substantial cross member bolted on behind the bumper, it has to be removed if fitting a tow-bar.

With the extra amount of technology in modern cars there is a LOT more to go wrong but I find my cars and motorcycles of the last 15 years much more reliable than cars of the past and bodywork being nearly indestructible to corrosion.

How did the thread subject change from Manual/Electric Handbrakes?
