My January 2015 build Yeti Elegance is now into it's 12th year on original battery and starting first time every time.

Is that not just one single pipe?

I had that hard plastic pipe split on my Fabia, all strange things happened including losing the cruise control, I bodged it with some electrical insulating tape until I got a new pipe from the dealer, strangely although braking was affected it was not too bad. Edit, follow it back from the servo, it was split on the other end.

Easy with a Carista OBD11 dongle.

Get a DAB radio adapter, Just Google it.

Looks like the maps are now available again to download. https://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/en-GB/Updates Edit: I have just downloaded new map, copied card (just in case), formatted SD card, unpacked and copied new map to it and all works well

My January 2015 Greenline battery must be on borrowed time but still starting like new.

Re: Updating Amundsen Nav II Maps. Looks like Skoda has stopped providing map updates.

I feel 27 but see a young 76 year old in the mirror.

I'll bet it has 2 thermostats and the electrical one has failed.

Pretty sure they all have the capability to do i, I did it on my 2015 Elegance Greenline with Carista. You do have to go into the MFD after and select and deselect a couple of options. Here it is with Carista on YouTube

I take it your mirror control knob on the door does not have the manual fold position.

What's the steering wheel to do with the folding mirrors?

Could you be sitting too far forward? Sitting back a bit would put your thighs onto the seat.

My battery is still starting the car well, it'll be 10 years old next month so must be getting near to needing replacement. Also has anybody found a way of updating the BEM code with a battery that does not have one, Tayna Batteries say none of their batteries have a BEM code on them. I do have Carista to input the BEM details.

Are the gearbox linkages all OK or out of adjustment?
