thanks for the help. it also sounds better when dumping the boost. With a standard airbox it makes a noticeable noise but not over the top and with an induction kit its a lot louder. I loved this on the car

For sale is my Awesome GTi Forge 007P diverter valve. This is in perfect condition and is an easy fit for the 1.8T engine. all parts are still available other than the front spats. like my original post says unfortunately the car isn't yet off the road and as such wheels suspension and panels aren't available. maybe a week and all parts can be removed. suspension set up is Weitec Hi Con Coilovers not very old. gearbox is available and in perfect order. will be looking for £170 for this. picture of carbon interior bits now available
