  1. Ended up being the valve on the side of the charge cooler. Had it done at my local Vag Indy as its a pig of a job!
  2. Cheers, will have a look this weekend hopefully not too painful 🤣
  3. Evening all Had a nice long drive back from Gatwick Aiport last night, got back in the car this morning to an Eng Management light on. 😫 Quick scan and had EGR codes PO46C00 and P040500, both "intermittent". Cleared the codes and cycled engine a few times nothing has reappeared. However I'm not convinced this will be the end of it. As such I want to get an eyes on to try and see if its gunked up etc. I've been having a dig through the forum and Google bit struggling to find anything concrete on the EGR Valve location for the CRLB engine. Anyone know their way around these engines? TIA
  4. I know it's not completely the same but wife's 2015 1.4tsi Leon needed a new flywheel along with the clutch, that was £1.5k at a VW Indy
  5. Hi all, I've just picked my new (to me) superb 67 plate SE L. On the drive home the android auto kept dropping out. On further inspect the USB port in the front cubby hole seems well worn and the USB cable is a loose fit ( multiple cables tried). Has anyone replaced this and if so, is it a simple enough job? TIA Glynn
  6. Evening all, Looking at returning to the Skoda fold (had mk2 octavia vrs pre-house!) now I have little one on the way. I have set my sights on the superb estate as nothing really compares to it size, tech, value for money etc. My main question is, What is the difference between the 150 and 190 2.0tdi with regards to the engine? Bigger turbo, diff injectors or just mapped different? The reason I ask is I notice the 190 only comes in a DSG which I have at the mo (audi a3 8p 2.0tdi), to be honest its not for me, I prefer a manual. Any info or reviews greatly appreciated!
