  1. Just tried taking bolts off the shocks, but the nut and bolt both move. Will taking the wheels off help? Then take the nuts off the other side? Cheers
  2. FYI for anyone who has a similar issue with creep in first gear. I had 4mm play in the input shaft, gear box rebuilt and the creep in first gear has been sorted. Only took a year to get to the bottom of it lol Not saying the above applies to everybody, but just so you know, it's another factor to consider
  3. Please see attached, covered approx 1k miles now in these new pads, noticed the pad still doesn't fit flush with the disc, is this normal? Cheers
  4. Looks like the bumper to wing bracket was on the wrong side, doh! Needed to undo the screw put the plastic up and over the bracket, they screw back up. Also noticed the bracket was very worn and abused lol, defo seen better days. This is what was preventing a flush fit too. Local TPS didn't have any spare brackets (£2.50), so replacing that will be next weekend hopefully Thanks for the help :-D
  5. Thanks Taylor93 I'll have a bash now!
  6. Hi Guys, Please see pictures of a gap I have on one side of my front bumper, any ideas on how to fix this? I have no arch liners or under tray, is this what's causing it? A dummies guide on how to fix it would be brilliant! Thanks
  7. Unit18 in MK can fit for sub £200 last I checked, and their standard of work is well above par.
  8. As above, covered approx 7k miles LUK brand £20ono delivered Thanks
  9. The powder coating on the farb has worn away and the bar is a tad loose now because of this. If I replace the bushes with the smaller size would this work? Rather than replacing the whole bar? Or is there a workaround for this?
  10. Ah I see. Thanks for confirming pal
  11. Do all the Fabia's share the same FARB regardless of the platform e.g 1.2, 1.4, 1.9tdi etc? Cheers
  12. Definitely sounds like boost leak somwhere - I have a very similar issue. No loose connections but one if the boost pipes had slit. Can you hear a noticeable wooshing noise when you try and boot it?

  19. Thanks mate, I found out the previous owner had fitted a very small clamp on the tubing, I fiddled around with that, a couple of turns (to make it tighter) and the buzzing appears to have disappeared. Will give it some time and see how it goes. I assume over time the clamp had loosened up. So far it seems ok Thanks for your help, if it starts buzzing again I'll have to adopt your idea Cheers
  20. My boost gauge is bouncing and vibrating like mad! Do I put the cigarrette filter into the tubing? Where can I get the filter from, how much are they? Edit: mine already has a restrictor in the tubing yet the gauge still buzzzzzzzzing!!! :-(
  21. Thanks all for the replies! The Tetrax floats my boat! :-D
