A big thank you to Mike Holroyd who kindly did some coding for me this morning on my Yeti.
Mike would accept no remuneration for his time - the only thing he asked was that I became a 'Freedom' member of this site, which I gladly did. Without this site I wouldn't have learned all I have done about my Yeti so a small contribution to the upkeep of this valuable asset is a small price to pay.
Thanks to all who offer their time and knowledge to the rest of us.

When I purchased my Yeti in late January, I bought a set of new steel rims with Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance 8 Tyres.
Great - bring on the snow. What has the weather been like since then? Thursday it was 17° here - I'll be changing back soon if it continues like this!

Thanks to the excellent advice from this forum, I have now purchased and fitted a set of Winter Tyres on new steel wheels. I don't want to fit plastic trims but would appreciate some recommendations as to the best way to cover the wheel centres or the area where the wheel nuts are.
Thanks in anticipation.

I have only had my Yeti since the beginning of this year.I bought some steel wheels and winter tyres which have been on more or less since I bought the car. Needless to say the weather has been mild, to say the least, since fitting them.
From other peoples experience when do they change back to their 'summer tyres' bearing in mind the vagaries of our weather system?
