  1. Got my camber shims delivered and fitted today! tryed one of the schmidt's on for fitment and it makes the car look so much wider at the back aswell as helping with lows. heres a couple of quick pics after fitting i noticed the rear brakes are binding slightly as the hub has been slightly spaced out by the shim, in the instructions it says that disk brakes may need spacing also after fitting. i fitted a couple of spacers to the carrier bolts to space the hole thing further out but the brakes are still binding. anybody got any other suggestions of what to do? cheers weedon
  2. More info on the cambers shims and where they easy to fit? Looks smart mate
  3. I would of changed it as and when skoda say had I owned the car since day one. That's why I changed it the next day after I bought it as there was no history of it being done
  4. I've not got the money to take it that far tbh mate and if I had. I'd rather save myself the time and just buy a faster car. But that's a nice list of stuff I could probably pick off. What injectors and throttle body would use? And I presume it would need setting up after?
  5. Haha that's right! There's nothing under your foot between 1500 and 3000 revs!
  6. Yeah I've saw that. Must of cost abit! And yeah that's right, the car dosnt start pulling until about 4k revs. Like everyone says, What's the point in spending so much money on it to mak it faster when you could just buy a vrs
  7. When I bought my fabia 1.4 16v on 80k I immediately had the Timing belt and water pump changed, only to find when we took the waterpump off the actual pump had snapped and broken off inside. It was only the casing that was holding it together. Could of locked up and made a mess at anytime. Lucky I got them changed!
  8. Haha thanks alot dude, yeah mins the 1.4 16v 100BHP. Not much to it tbh. I'm in 2 mins about the vrs bumper, Just as a test really to see if I can pull it off! I've been tempted to take the door strips off but unsure of the paintwork underneath whether its bubbled or not. I had fly eyed headlights before and now I've removed them, they've left a gluey residue that's burnt into the plastic. I've tried everything to get them clear again but tempted to stick some more flyeye on. I've already got a vrs back box with Center silencer delete pipe but fancy a change of tips. Not sure if a remap to a N/A engine is worth the money tbh Thanks again anyway
  9. Not ready to go into any engine transplants just yet, will just run a cone filter, new plugs and leads and possibly a decat, if I can get one made. Focusing on what can be seen ATM though. Just bought myself a vrs front bumper I'm goin to smooth. Not sure whether to give it ago myself or send it off.
  10. Totally standard under the bonnet. Got a few ideas in mind over Christmas but nothing that will make big gains
  11. Yeah just on for pictures dude. Don't worry, There sat in my bedroom where I can admire them first thing in the morning!

  17. thankyou for the correction, these are the tapered ones i think http://www.carparts-tuning.co.uk/en/Rims-Tires/Wheel-bolts/FK-Radschraube-L-50-mm-M14-x-1-14-Kegelbund-schwarz.html?listtype=search&searchparam=m14%2050
  18. http://www.carparts-tuning.co.uk/en/Wheel-Spacers/Wheel-Locks/FK-Felgenschloss-4er-Set-L-50-mm-M14-x-1-5.html?listtype=search&searchparam=m14%2050 i think these are them
  19. something along the lines of http://www.carparts-...rchparam=m14 50 would do it i think, thats if im correct in thinking the standard skoda fabia wheel bolt size is m14 x 27? so that would allow for a 20mm spacer? dont hold me to that though
  20. Those spacers require longer wheels bolts as they dont bolt onto the hub, where as ones that bolt onto the hub would need the shorter head wheel bolts, youll be needing longer wheel bolts in order to go through your wheel and the spacer, if that makes any sense?
  21. Porsches sold, BBS RXII now for sale
