  1. After failing to find a suitably modified Fabia that I could use on track I have now moved to a Fiesta ST. It has all the upgrades I was after in terms of power, brakes, LSD - good history etc. This one has been really well looked after and has had all the work done by professionals with all the receipts which helps. It has only done 47,000 and have copies of all the MOTs etc to verify. Cant wait to get her on track and have already booked to go to Blyton in March. Nice bit of power too with the Jamsport Rotrex supercharger conversion - here are a few pics;
  2. Good luck on Shark getting back to you. Been there done that and got loads of T shirts !!!
  3. I was there today but went in the Audi S1 - was really good lots to see and weather was ok once it had warmed up a bit.
  4. Must admit I can see where you are coming from. I am regretting selling my stage 3 Fabia now. Although I now have an S1 which is fantastic I feel I need another Fabia as a second car.
  5. I have only had my Citigo for a couple of weeks now and although it is brilliant I may be selling it on soon. In the 2 weeks of ownership I have already done almost 1500 miles and really need a motorway cruncher rather than a city car. The spec is brilliant - 75 bhp. 5 door, heated seats, sat nav, cruise control and has the added option of electric sunroof and parking sensors. Only has 20,000 miles on it too !! Just need to get some pictures sorted and will put it up for sale if anyone is interested?
  6. Just a couple of interior pictures from my phone so not brilliant - but you can see how Yellow it is inside too !!! - love it
  7. Absolutely love it to be honest. Its a real pocket rocket, great fun to drive, has all the toys and the wife likes it too (which is a bonus!!) Bit more grown up than the Fabia and just as much fun - puts a smile on my face.
  8. I was quite happy to let it lie to be honest but when further FALSE statements are posted I have to react. At least you clarify that you were actually acting for Shark in the purchase of the car unbeknown to myself the customer - not the most honest way to operate. I am not sure where you are getting your facts from but at NO point did I "constantly ask for more power". I am sure Ben and the team can confirm that my original remit was to reduce the smoke and not more power (so quite the opposite). I purchased 50% injectors exactly for that reason and if my aim was for more power surely I would have chosen larger injectors. PLEASE DO NOT POST MORE FALSE STATEMENTS. As I have mentioned before I am happy to move on and forget about the whole episode but if UNTRUTHS are posted (in this case secondhand) then I have to respond. Its not a slanging match but just the facts from my side.
  9. Although I was unaware that Rich had posted anything what he did post was factually correct albeit secondhand. I would not normally post a response as do not feel it is appropriate for reasons mentioned but feel I should clear some of the "Untruths" quoted. Firstly, although I was happy to accept (i.e not Happy in general), this was before I had actually seen or driven the car (my fault I guess) only to discover the damage to the bodywork and the fact that the air conditioning had not been fixed. I agree the bodywork issue was sorted (don't need the detail) and was an annoyance having to take the car for repair as soon as I picked it up. I just wanted to get the car back so I could get it sold so this added delay and meant me having to drop the value for the air conditioning. This brings me to the second issue - Shark NEVER offered to buy the car. They did put me in contact with a "Friend" who wanted to buy the car but wanted to pay a ridiculous price. If this was really on behalf of Shark then that is a bit Naughty!!. Thirdly just to be clear I was actually invoiced and paid for the turbo repair charged by AET. The warranty issue and reasons behind was between Shark and AET. Surely a customer is not expected to pay twice for the same repair when they haven't already had benefit from the original ?? I have moved on now having sold the car and I am more than happy with my new vehicle which is why I haven't posted until now. Felt I had to though to have a credible response! Not a rant but more a statement of fact.
  10. Hadnt realised it was the same group. Not sure if it would have been the demonstrator as its a year old with only 2,500miles. Really impressed by the Audi garage to be honest and yes it was Chris Huxtable transport which were equally as professional - couldn't fault it at all. Love the car its a real pocket rocket an absolute hoot like you said.
  11. No from tunbridge wells - 1 owner with only 2,500 miles on it !!
  12. My car was actually transported from Kent obviously popular down there - had to be Vegas Yellow !!! It's a great, fun machine
  13. As per the title I am selling 2 Brand New R888 tyres size 205/40 ZR17 for £100 each. Bargain price as they sell for about £150 each normally. Buyer must collect from East Yorkshire - PM if interested
  14. Now have a replacement for the Fabia and gone for a more sensible car as a replacement. No plans to do much to it as don't really need to because it has All the nice options; Exterior Quattro Pack Interior Quattro Pack Technology Pack - incl HD Sat Nav/jukebox/DVD Player Aluminium Gear Knob - a must !! BOSE - includes 14 speakers!! Heated Leather Absolutely love it Still miss the Fabia, it was a bit of an animal - this is way more refined
  15. Now car has sold these wheels are now available again Darren
  16. Car now sold - bit of a sad day today seeing it driving off
  17. To be honest it will go to the first person to come up with the cash. If it is still available when you sell yours you can have it!! Have had lots of interest be no sale yet so you never know. Darren
  18. Due to unforeseen circumstances my buyer has had to withdraw from the purchase of the car and as a result is now back up for sale.
  19. All being well buyer collecting on Wednesday - already missing it and it hasn't even gone yet!!
  20. I have now bought a new car and need the Fabia to go quickly now as have too many cars on the drive. I have therefore reduced the price dramatically to 5,995 which is an absolute bargain based on the fact; Its a Fabia SE (in arguably the best colour) It's an 09 Plate - probably the last registered Its only got 53,000 on the clock Full MOT New tyres all round and the spec as per advert to name but a few Power 250bhp 390lbft LSD KW3 Suspension Garret Hybrid Turbo WMI Brembo Brakes Miltek Exhaust Oil Cooler Pro alloy Inter cooler An absolute steal for anyone wanting a modified VRS - the first person with the cash gets the car!!
