That's ready and waiting, but the boss and I (mostly her 😂) want the chance to drive around looking brand new for 6 months - we'll never be buying new again! Just seems a shame to know I've got a lovely brand new car but to the rest of the world it could be 6 months old. And if there's two similar cars for sale at a similar price and mileage, wouldn't you expect the 72 to sell before the 22, even if in reality they were days apart?

Nope, it's mine! But yes, both of those things 😂 That's why I want to know where it is - if it's 2 or 3 weeks away then I want it NOW, if it's 4 to 6 weeks away then it's a different decision...

With not knowing if broker will use dealership or PDI centre it's a bit difficult! PDI centre has been mentioned so that could be almost anywhere... Question is will it be closer to 4 or to 6 weeks so do I ask them to hold out for 72 reg or not....?

Wish I knew. I live in Yorkshire, dealer is just outside Birmingham and I don't know if they'll use a PDI centre or not...

I was told 4 to 6 weeks from built to doorstep, but people have had very different experiences. A few have managed to figure out what boat it's on, hoping for some help on that!

Mine could well be the same or worse, build week 2 weeks ago - current state "In production"... I really have no luck! But in production is much better than the nothing I've had for 15 months.

I was told by a dealer that according to their release from Skoda MY23 only has 3 changes - Digital dials No cooled glovebox No covers on SE roof rails (whatever that means)

Particularly now with VW cabins I can't think of any VW I'd choose over the Skoda alternative. And I'm not some Skoda fanboy, the Kodiaq will be my first having had VW, Ford, Mazda, Volvo, Audi.

All of these make me very happy I went options mad... Let's hope they built it last week 🤣

How long has anyone waited from build to next update? Car was meant to be built last week but no news yet.

To be fair I'm gutted about the glovebox, was excited for that and if they'd just got on and built it 🙄 Maybe they'll just become VW for people who don't want to look like VW people.
