It's definitely accepted by factory, Skoda confirmed it was 21st May. Did have build week 30th August 21, pushed back to 13th September 21, then went build week not allocated. Did read badly at first, but have had previous confirmation it's accepted and awaiting. Situation is mad though, and maddening.

With you on that, weird looking chrome covered box. Don't mind the e-208, but it's not exactly a competitor with the Kodiaq 😂 It's true though that for a "proper" sized 7 seater there's nothing that competes on price unless you're happy in a French van or a French engined back-to-basics Dacia Jogger - which is also kind of a van. Will be interesting to see the Dacia Bigster though when that comes through...

I like the interior, maybe a tad bland but solid and utilitarian. No tablet sticking out of the dash, kept the proper AC controls, no acres and acres of bare plastic. I have ordered VC as I think this "modernises" the interior a lot.

It's a Renault in a dress. Personally, I can't stand Merc's current "chintzy" interiors.

The kids will probably complain but I won't be able to hear them from out there anyway... Maybe he's onto something! Maybe suggest he buys the cargo box and shoves it somewhere?

We have a garage so I'm expecting that in 10 years time something fully electric will have a practical range at a sensible price. Maybe I'm hoping for too much 🤣

Mine probably will be as I plan on running it for at least 10 years, then it will be second hand or electric - no other choice!
