What options did you get? Possibly same unavailable thing stopping them

Will wait and see what they come back with but like you said, parts of Travel Assist and I added it as it was a cost effective way of getting a couple of things I want. If this was the issue I'd happily drop it to get the car as long as I kept ACC.

Fingers crossed for them just telling me that, me saying OK and that getting it straight into build! 🤞

Travel Assist is the self drive package, so sign recognition, adaptive cruise and lane keeping. They've basically said what and see what they come back with, until Skoda come back to use we don't know which if any option is a problem so wouldn't know which to remove to move it on.

All of them 🤣 Never ever had a new car before and probably never will so went a bit crazy.

That's the positive I'm taking from it. No idea how many they're checking or how long it will take but at least it's not just "no build week", someone is doing something.

I think this year it will be a deletion of lots of options/features in packs due to shortages. Can imagine they'll come back to me saying they can't build it or at least they can, but with some of my options missing.

Not a facelift but the June/July model year change (MY23 I guess?) when option packs will change. But also the last part.

So... Weird news on my car... No longer "No build week allocated" Is now in some kind of error state where they intend to freeze orders and due to model year changes manually check through all the ancient orders like mine to see when/if they can build it to spec. No idea how long this will take. No idea if we will get what we ordered - or even anything. The dealer is at least going to update me every Monday from now on so I suppose... News.

More than likely just let me walk, they know my deal is strong if fulfilled. Going to Motor Ombudsman but there is likely nothing they'll do either - Skoda will quote semiconductor and Ukraine crisis and that will be that. Got to try though.

Facelift - was placed in April but waited till May to be submitted because of facelift.

I'm in the unfortunate position where I've never met my dealer, as it's through a broker of sorts. They do nothing but provide the same updates but I have figured out who the dealer is so may have to annoy them directly. Have mentioned priority slots to broker once more so will wait and see what dealer says to them before pursuing directly.

However, ŠKODA UK as the importer, have no control or influence over the Factory production logistics. This is entirely their decision, and as such we are not able to help in this regard. As discussed, we are not able to contact anyone for information/updates, and this is all done through the dealership. Any updates received by them through the factory system should be provided to yourself, and to reiterate we do not have access to these systems. I apologise again this is not the outcome you were expecting.and that we cannot assist further. This is ŠKODA UK’s Full and Final response on the matter. Any future correspondence will be filed but may not be actioned." Really riled me that they kept going on about "we can't give updates". I don't care. I want my build escalating, not telling it's at "no build week allocated" again.

You're not the first person to mention priority slots - but Skoda UK refuse to acknowledge the existence of them stating there is nothing they can do and it's all decided at factory level and that they can not and will not comment on other customers' builds. They even had the cheek to say they would file and not read any further emails from me after only 2 further emails with questions for clarification!

Unfortunately you can't check with Skoda anymore, here is my complaint response - "To clarify, us as customer relations representatives DO NOT have access to the factory systems,nor are we able to contact them. If we are contacted by customers wanting updates on their vehicle order, our policy is to refer them to the selling dealerships,who DO have access to the factory system. If customers do not accept this, and want ourselves to provide an update, we were able to contact a 3rd party department who deals with the vehicle orders for information. However, due to recent policy changes, this department is no longer providing ourselves this information, and customers are to be directed back to the dealerships, who have the same access to these systems, to keep their customers updated on the status of their vehicle. Your selling ŠKODA Approved Retailer will always be best placed to keep you up to date with specific production and delivery issues. I apologise this is not the outcome you were expecting. As we cannot assist further, your case will have to be closed." Very much looking forward to filling in the feedback after that response 😅
