  1. Really? I went from a Bora 130PD to a VRS CR and paid £50 more for 6 months (thats going from group 9 to 15 in old money). Interestingly the 170PD is cheaper to insure than the 170CR for some reason...

I find this strange as when i got my new cr vrs it was cheaper to insure than my 3yr old pd vrs with the same company

  2. no am only going to use them as winters seen as 225/40 all seasons are an arm and a leg plus i dont think the wife would like 16" wheels on all year round on the vrs seen as she is the one driving it plus these are rated highly for use in winter. Delacroix i have pm'd you some contact info so i can have a look at your wheels

  3. Chrisrs buying these instead doent help when already got them, have got one at home and although they are listed as an all season they are designed as a proper winter tyre, plus cost also is a factor by the time i have purchased these and had them fitted i would be £100 worse off that will pay for a set of rims

  4. Have done a few of these type of repairs over the years and one thing that you have to be careful of is you dont see all the small parts ie plastic trims and panels and clips and fixings that you need to buy usually from main dealer and these can push the price of the repair up considerably as these parts are hard to find at breakers because of muppets who stip these cars dont give a monkeys.

  5. When i got my second vrs in july i didnt bother with the lifeshine as i did on the first one just let dealer prep it as norm then used ag hd wax the difference in quality of finish was unbeliveable water still beaded after 2 months where as life shine went afer about a month have since treated again and car is very easy to clean.

  6. Hi all sm lovers just been on mini website and speced up a country man to roughly elegance spec and would you belive it comes out to £26500 give or take a few pounds and also gives away a lot of horses to the 170 interesting this as i also looked at the new sportage also biggest engine is 136hp but you will have to agree its a good looking bus.
