SO67AHK corrida red octavia vRS 184
Good afternoon chaps and chapettes, Having browsed around for an octavia a certain vehicle with the registration in the title has caught my eye. The dealer says he’s on his 5th vRS (assuming he’s purchased the mk4) so I’m fairly confident the person in question may be on here. just wanting to ask a few questions on said car thanks.

Best spark plugs for Fabia VRS mk2?
I’ve always bought all my servicing parts from opieoils, I can’t fault them. Had a **** up last year when I purchased all my stuff, filters, oil, plugs the lot but it came in a rather small box, small enough as in the size of a 1L oil bottle size so I thought hmmm, definitely no 5L in there. Dropped them a quick email and they sent the oil out next day, warehouse error apparently. I can’t fault their service so I keep going back. They aren’t the cheapest but they’re consistent in being reliable and always have them in stock so I keep returning. @GUESTY for the love of god please don’t go somewhere and say “i need some Spark plugs for a vRS” because they will no doubt give you the wrong ones and that’s when it all starts. Go in knowing the exact spark plug you want it’s all down to personal preference, as stated earlier my car has always ran bang on so why change something that works? Thats even with the r8 coils that have been in for the past 2 years. Others prefer NGK over Denso and vice versa.

Best spark plugs for Fabia VRS mk2?
There are newer spark plugs on the market these days but my engine has always ran sweet with the Denso SKJ20CR-A8’s so I stick with them every year.

2011 monte carlo alloys
Yep, the tt comps do fit as I have them myself. They are a little wider than standard alloys and sit flush with the arch.

Fabia VRS Mk2 Brake Upgrade
you are correct, maybe I should of edited that last year. I sold my gigaros and bought some TT comps when I first purchased the car so I never found out. Awesome bit of kit aren't they? Paired some DS2500 pads and some mtec discs together they bite pretty well.

Fabia VRS Mk2 Brake Upgrade
im not 100% sure if you can mix the 288 and the 312 caliper as there must be some sort of difference so for the sake of it I’d make sure your calipers come with carriers, you’d find most kits do anyway, the only thing you will need is a new copper washer for the banjo for when you swap brake hoses over. No idea if he’s still around or if the prices are still the same but on the ol’ ebay you could buy a 312mm kit refurbed and sprayed for around the £150 mark. Once again, they’re all the same so from any of them platforms will be fine, I hardly doubt there’s much of a price difference. Treat your car to some new brake fluid and decent pads whilst your at it 👍

Bulbs in front headlight unit.
Relax they’re dummy bulbs, they don’t work.

VRS Brake Calipers
I’d pop the wheel off and measure the disc before buying, looking at the disc drilling and you saying they look very much like that picture I’d say they’re 312mm and not standard.

Finding ignition live
Best bet is to piggy back it off your rear wiper.

New badges
Get the back one filled in, looks much better 👍 then again I only got it filled in because of the rust at the number plate lights.
