  1. Thank you so much. That gives me some clarity. Really appreciate it.
  2. Hello all. Sorry I realise this is an old post but I need to do the vacuum hose fix to my bulkhead rear washer connector as it won't click back together. Does anybody have access to any of the images from this thread?
  3. Hi there I've had a look through the tech guides but can't seem to find an answer to this. Is there a way to replace the front seat cushion of a mk1 vrs without taking the cover off et cetera? I have some donor seats but only want to replace the cushion so I can keep my storage box and not have to spend a week cleaning the donor seats. Cheers.
  4. That could work but I don't want to cause trouble. Are there any rips on the seats?
  5. I'd have these but I am in cornwall. Can we do anything? Don't want to pay loads for a courier.
  6. Hi sorry I never replied to your original answer to my question about the seats. If you still have the front ones I am interested if they are in good condition. Mine are ripped.
  7. Hi there. Over the past week my clutch has felt vague when engaging gears to the point where there is little clutch bite when the gear is engaged (if I don't match the revs ). However when driving I don't notice any slip and the car seems to drive just as it normally does. Also is the clutch related to the brakes in any way? Probably a stupid question but I heard that the brake servos work differently on a diesel. So if my clutch is failing could this also effect the brake power? Have had a couple of times recently where the brakes also felt vague whereas they are normally sharp and have been replaced this year. Thanks Doug
  8. Hi there. I have just fitted a Sony dab 500 radio to my mk 1 fabia. I'm sorry as this has probably been asked a million times but I have also bought a signal booster and can't for the life of me work out where the little bee sing connector connects to to power the booster. I have a blue wire coming from the booster cylinder but there are wires in the slots that the instructions say to put it in. Can post pics if needed but any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Doug
  9. Just checked and the level is down to the bottom of the top bit of the resvoir if that makes sense... Low or what?
  10. Yeah fully off but good point trundlenut.
  11. Thanks wino. Yeah that makes sense. I'm going to wuss out and get the aa to come out. I pay them enough money! I did have a car years ago where all the fluid poured out and the brakes failed just as I got to the garage...but that was a rubbish car...just leaves a bad memory.
  12. So probably not a good idea to drive it? Could the aa bring fluid?
