  1. Good afternoon all, hope you're well. I'm slowly lossing the backlights to the speedometer and revcounter, so such an extent, i won't have any left soon. It started with just the top sections of the dails, but now I've lost illumination of the needles themselves. All of the other backlights on the dash work fine. Is there a simple way to fix this? I'm guessing there isn't 😞 Cheers, Ben
  2. Hi all, the near side dipped beam isn't working this morning, but putting a new HID bulb in it didn't resolve the issue. I know the old bulb is ok, as I installed it in the drivers side as a test. I can't see anything wrong with the fitments and it all looks lovely and clean. There's been no work under the bonnet is dirupt anything either. I can't believe there is a buld for only the LH dipped beam, but prove me wrong. Any help gratefully appreciated. Cheers, Ben
  3. Good morning, hope you’re all well. My fan blower has stopped working. The lights for the plus/minus still light up, but there’s no fan coming on. I’ve checked the fuses (side dash compartment 40 amp) and all is good. The blower has always worked and was never noisy, just one day it stopped working. Any other suggestions as to where the issue lies? many thanks Ben 2011 2.0 tdi estate elegance
  4. thank you all, much appreciated
  5. Good afternoon all, I wondered if someone could help with an issue I have with my 2011 plate 2.0 DSG TDI-CR. The engine temperature gauge never gets above 1/4 up the scale, even if the engine has been running for a couple of hours. The engine oil temp shows around 68 - 74 degrees. Can anyone suggest where the issue might be? Car has done 61k miles. Many thanks all, Ben
