Quick update.... The garage have scanned the car and can't find any faults, although they admitted that it was an issue as they saw it first hand. They have reset the system and apparently it has rectified the issue. Time will tell. Picking the car up tomorrow, so hopefully it has worked!

I have the exact same issue on my MY20 superb III. As you say, it's not a major issue, but the VC was a big selling point for me, so it needs to work as intended to justify the price in my opinion. I've flagged it to the garage and have it booked in with the main dealer for tomorrow morning to look into this for me. It is also intermittent for me too, so I've taken a video of me starting the car to show what happens. Hopefully it won't go back to normal tomorrow as it will be a pain if I need to show the video. I will let you know what they say 🤞

Thanks, not the best picture from my side, but I'm 99% certain I have the highline camera. My rear view mirror definitely doesn't look like the lowline one above.

Is there a way to check which one visually, or will it need to be plugged in to scan it?

Hi, I have a MY20 SEL which has HBA, am I right in thinking that I could get lane departure warning and lane assist activated? Also, I'm considering purchasing obd11, would it be possible to do the coding for these with obd11, or would it require VCDS? One other query.... I would I've to retrofit an OEM reversing camera. Has anyone done this on a FL version yet? My Skoda dealer tried but couldn't find where it needed to be activated! Thanks!

My thoughts exactly. Not sure whether this is something that they don't want to do as opposed to not being able to do it. Apparently they plugged it into the system and it didn't come up with the correct code/gateway to code it to.

Hi all, I know that this is a hot topic, so apologies if I'm covering old ground. I've just received a call from the dealer who's told me that the car I've put a deposit down on can't have a camera fitted as it is the 2020 model (69 plate) as the system isn't capable of having the camera added, although the older models can? Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks Adam

Hi all, Picking up my new (to me) superb hatch on Thursday, and I'm looking to get some rear seat covers fitted asap as I have a baby on the way, and regularly take my two dogs in the back too. I've done a bit of googling and can't really see much out there. The challenge for me is to still be able to fit an isofix base without messing around too much. Does anyone have any recommendations? Just to be clear, the baby and dogs won't be in the back at the same time.

Soon to be new owner! Picking up my 2019 2.0 tsi SE L next week, and can't wait! By far the nicest car I've driven, so really looking forward to bringing this home!
