  2. By the way I love Skoda's and I've had loads and this is my first ever problem. I will still buy another Skoda 😁
  3. No sure cause I can't find any bag in the tank on mine it took 6 months of slowly getting worse. I tried flushing it but still no good. Regards
  4. That's good to know thanks Incidentally have you ever had a problem with your heater ? Apparently my heater matrix has blocked up and blowing cold and there are a few posts with the same on here. Skoda should be paying for this. Anyway got a new one with larger bore pipes. At least it's not too difficult to fit
  5. Just purchased the heater radiator for it as well. May as well get it all done at the same time £££££££
  6. Oooppps mine is now nearly 7 years old I better get it done 👍
  7. Thanks for the replies 👍
  8. I think I am due to fit new Cambelt and waterpump my car has 77,000 on the clock and is 7 years old Octavia 1.6tdi auto estate. Anyway my question is there are so many aftermarket choices I don't know which parts to buy ? Or do I just get genuine Skoda parts ?? Thank you for reading
  9. Fantastic I think I will try and do that. I think the hole is so small it blocks really easily Regards 👍
  10. Same problem heater matrix blockage ( very common problem ) just bought new none genuine rad with bigger pipes in. £80 with postage. Not too difficult to fit left hand side under dash but will need to take heater fan off. 2 types of rad fitted Denso or Valeo
  11. Same problem even bought a brand new one which worked for 5 seconds then blocked up again driver side no problem 😡😡😡
