  1. Dear Techies,

I have a skoda fabia kompis 2002 , 1.4 60HK and now its time for yearly inspection test. The car has been giving low milage , 10km/1 liter max. I was in the workshop and they did a data test and found the three (3) error codes - P0171, P0441, P0116. the check engine light was on and off frequently.

The workshop told me to change Front Lambda sensor, Tempareture sensor exhaust system, AKF ventil/AKF Valve. The workshop gave me 1200 USD charge for that including service. So, I thought to do it by myself partial works.

After that I went to a small workshop and change the small joint pipe in the exhaust pipe which add two exhaust pipes. After that I did a OBDII error code erase with my Vgate VS450 scan tool and the codes are not coming back for 3 weeks and 200 km run. After the exhaust pipe fix the check engine light never come back for 2 months. But when I put the OBDII with ignition ON, its visible in the dahsboard. What does that mean ? This is my first question.

Second question, shall I change the parts recommended by workshop directly or do you have any advise ? I have checked internet and find the below solution. It does not say to change the parts as the workshop saying. Please advise.
