Good evening everyone, Hopefully someone can help me with a mysterious banging noise. This one happens when reversing and the is an bang from under the bonnet. I can feel it through the pedal so though it could have been the brake pad moving, It has been into a main dealer, however they cant find the noise. It only happens the once and then wont repeat until it has driven forward. The car has done over 80,000 in 28 months. Any help would be grateful, as it is starting to worry me that it could be something serious. Many Thanks Ryan

Hi all, Skoda had it for a week and found no issues, however had it back and it still does it. The peddle seems to have a lot of side ways movements.

Hi, That is exactly how it feels, but i have taken the mat out.

Wondering if anyone could help. I have a two year old Octavia, my third Octavia over the years. This one i have an issue with the accelerator pedal. It currently operates ok most of the time, yet every so often it catches on release and then hits the bottom of my foot. Its not a massive issue at the moment, but worried it does it further down the accelerator. Has anyone experienced anything similar ? Many thanks
