Iam no expert but it doesn’t appear right / uneven when 2/3 power then 1/3 power in opposing combustion strokes, usually 2,4,6,8,10,12 cylinder do vag still produce a 5 cylinder?im not saying they are no good Just it doesn’t work for me.Some 30 years ago my son had a daihatsu gtti 3cylinder and loved it ,do they still use the 3 cylinder?

I’m surprised members who are looking for a yeti replacement haven’t considered the Dacia duster or Suzuki swift, both these vehicles are not too expensive in comparison and offer similar higher driving position and 4wd options.

somebody did go to an XC40 last year and gave an initial revue,,,,,,,and posted some pics ,,,,,
  9. Can’t really see an issue with it starting with 10cc but starting with Abba then that’s a serious problem😂😂😂
  10. Mpg doesn’t sound that bad with that sort of run With the extra weight of 4 x 4,but the FIX did appear to effect the lower powered 2.0l the most, in more ways than mpg from reading the posts at the time.

The yeti was/is a great little motor but what with diesel gate and other issues looming sold mine earlier than was planned but thankfulY I did and consider I’ve got a great petrol 2wd replacement For me as vag was and never will be an option ever again onward and upward as they say

It’s become bit of a ritual every year unfortunately insurance company put up its premium ,customer shops around online, either changes company’s or goes back to original to get them to match others, the yeti was with LV under £200 for Fully comp , 2 named drivers And a protected policy I’m happy some people don’t shop around because by them paying high it allows me to get a better price likewise with house ins ,car breakdown cover, etc etc I’m probably paying less per year Now than 15 years ago when not bothering to compare.

Also I don’t think the sport is suitable for a tow bar fitment.

Well I replaced my yeti 2 years ago with a Kia Soul sport, and I am still More than pleased with it ,it’s a 2wd petrol and I expected to take a hit on mpg but on a run have achieved 50 mpg ( not official)car is very quiet ,smooth plenty of head room and a similar size and ride height to the yeti, quality is a big improvement over my first Kia 9 years ago, the music system is also far better that the yeti but most are Manufacturers are now and Apple car play very handy.ive had a few hondas and was interested in a HRV but the lack of power and noisy engine put me off, a first for me was a DSG as it was the only option but soon got used to it.
  18. Quite a few manufacturers offer petrol
