Got rid of my 2.0 l&k deiselgate 4years ago (4 years from new)for a soul Gdi,a far better car imo ,comparable size and shape/ driving height ,which was a major factor with no transmission,diff filter ,sunroof leaks or dpf issues to worry about,much better tech and comparable fuel consumption ,have never missed the yeti or the known issues,onward and upward as they say and the the added bonus of VWG deiselgate COMPO😀😀😀£££.

My haldex failed without me realising for some time (front wheels bouncing when booted in the wet) but luckily within warrant period but never told what was the cause.

Thinking about doing a Yorkshire tour later in the year and would be interest to know the better direction to include the buttertubs and which days to avoid or might even try it in both directions ,thanks for any tips 👍ps that’s in a car.

Agree ,in the dark great but the brightness reflected off large highly reflective road signs could be a bit much at times I found.

Quite agree ,I think it’s all a storm in a RB tea cup and if it takes lawyers to decide over racing stewards, weeks after the actual incident the sports gone wrong.PS I would still like the Damian/ shuee incident investigated😀

Always found the xenons on the yeti too bright if anything and no deterioration in the 4years of ownership

The incident took place at approximately 180mph and both drivers had fractions of a sec to react ,in fact red bull acted quicker running and crying to the stewards and then all the stewards took quite a time to deliberate all the video evidence and came to a decision which penalised Hamilton/merc ,which they eventually overcame but no two weeks after the incident RB are still bleating,shame on them and the sport for allowing this.PS please could the stewards and governing body look again at the incident involving Damian hill and shuee which cost Damian a world championship😀

If Lewis wasn’t racing, max is the best of the rest and he’s got age on his side and would seb have won 4 without red bull remember they didn’t want lewis in favour of seb.

With Shuee winning 7 ,seb4 and Lewis 7 not a lot of space for some other great drivers since 1994,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,come on Nigel

Before tv cameras everywhere that first lap incident would been a first lap racing incident 50/50 and either driver could have gone off but as can be seen oh sky slow mo maxs deliberate turn into Lewis caused the crash and max lost out,I also thought the remarks from red bull brought the sport into disrepute because they made the remarks before seeing all the footage in SLO mo.10 sec penalty my a** ……………anyway best driver won and I think in every way RB look bad losers ,not that it’s max first incident as a great driver that he is ( but not the greatest YET)

I had this on a brand new octavia vrs ,when I looked on the briskoda forum it was a well known issue something like Hamburg syndrome or some other German town and was fixed with a new gps antenna I the head unit I believe,so as previous post says antenna knackered.

Personally i find 2 or 3 of these in the car (the size of a 1 p coin ) pretty good with music from existing CD collection but with it being so easy to download music from iTunes onto a phone I’m starting to use that more ,especially if I buy from ama### and it’s AUTO RIP CD it automatically downloads into the Amazon music app and the actual CD arrives in the post a couple of days later,where will it all end?
