Hi all, Car has done 160,000 miles. The DPF light came on and the car went into limp mode. I put it into the garage and the o2 sensor needed replaced and the DPF was cleaned twice. It was cleaned to the differential pressure sensor lower limit value was just met. I have driven it 300 miles on the motorway and the dpf symbol has come on twice along with the orange warning light. Each time the light and symbol has went off on its own. It resets when I stop but leave the engine running for a few minutes until the fan goers off and then it resets and stays off. Is this normal? I have never realised previously that the regen is happening when the symbol comes on. I'm also now losing 1 litre of oil to 400 miles of driving, no smoke or leaks showing. It was 1000 miles per litre previous to the DPF issues. Has anyone had any experience with this coming hand in hand or is it purley coincidental. Thanks, Craig.
