Intercooler Seal Leak

Featured Replies

Got my VRS serviced today (owned for 6 months) and was advised it had an intercooler seal leak.

Fixed under warranty so not a problem, just wondered whether it's a common issue and if I should be concerned/should have noticed it?

Yeah, it happens quite often (almost as bad as one of those British Leyland "if it doesn't leak, it's empty" scenarios, TBH!)

If it's been fixed, then that's fine!

Mine were replaced at 40K too due to contamination.

Hi

I just had my first service on my TDi VRS and this was a problem for me too.

They replaced the seal under warranty.

Theives charged me £50 to change the front wiper blades. I only consented cos they woman I swear said £15.

I even said £15 each or for both and she said both.

Grumble.
