G60 Flywheel and VR Clutch

Featured Replies

I'm assuming I can do this upgrade on a 2002 VRS because it has a 5 speed box? Can someone just confirm for me please?

Thanks

John

Sounds like the kit I've got for my 4x4 1.8T.

Check out Awesome Sarah, got mine from them.

I doubt anyone will be able to beat the price I can get the OE stuff for, about £230inc. But if they can I'm all ears !

The question you asked was "can it be done".

Yes is your answer. I've had it done to my 2003 vRS.

Its what i'm running on my MK2.

What difference does this make?

Yes I did your right, I was simply referring to the above comment on where to get it from. I was 99% sure it would be fine just wanted to double check. Thanks

It eliminates the troublesome (at times) dual mass flywheel. Nothing to go wrong with a single piece one! It'll take a fair bit more power also.

What difference does this make?

Its a fair bit lighter meaning the engine can spin up quicker.

Sorry to hijack but could the G60 be used in a pd130 diesel?

No, the PD 130 uses a 6 sped box and thus a larger flywheel and clutch.
