Reassurance regarding pd100/pd105 fabia mods!!!

Featured Replies

Hey I was just wondering if anyone new of any more differences to the pd130 engine over the pd100/pd105 unit apart from the ones listed below:

Uprated Turbo: KKK or Garrett

PD130 injectors

uprated clutch

different ecu to the mkII pd105

obviously different remap

But I did here somewhere that the airbox was different with respect to the MAF sensor but was not sure how true this is??

I was under the impression that both the pd100/105 and pd130 had the same air intake tube as both are upgradeable to the pd160. Does anything else need to be changed with regards to the airbox?

I intend to take the car a Skoda Fabia Sport MKII 1.9tdi pd105 to about 170-180bhp after new turbos, injectors, clutch, air filters etc but wanted to make sure that there was no other components that I had missed.

Thanks for anyhelp - sorry for the long post!!:)

We can get 155 bhp on a PD105, with all stock parts. We can get about 165-170 bhp if you have an up-rated clutch.

Is that 155 bhp simply from a remap??
