Tyres...

Featured Replies

Swmbo's Yaris is now due some new tyres. So far I'm looking to put something with a good wear rate on, as long as they're safe.

I've seen Toyo Proxes CF1 for decent prices and I was wondering if anyone has had experience of these.

Otherwise Pirelli P6000's could be on the cards, although it will depend on what the local dealer has in stock.

Go and see pete at denton tyres he will sort you out with something good, for decent money aswell

he will do anything to undercut gates ;)

That's exactly where I'm going. Have always bought my tyres there, along with everyone else in my family.

Oh just thought maybe caused confusion there by saying local dealer, should have put local tyre dealer.

The CF1s are pretty decent tyres; I had them on my old Xantia, and I can say they made a noticable positive difference to the grip compared with "budget" brands.

Thanks for that, I've also managed to find a tyre review site that gives them a food write up too. Will see what they have in today.

I'll be needing 3 new tyres later this year.

Kwik Fit have an offer on Contis atm

Although I might be able to get a good deal at a fitter where my mechanic is.

I don't understand what they mean by re-inforced tyre though.
