VRs 2004 54 Worth?

Featured Replies

I am toying with getting a mk2 Vrs.

My silver mk1 is a December 2004 54 reg with 55k miles, full dealer history, Impossible Performance remap and just had new cambelt and new discs and pads all round. The dealers are offering £5-5.5K what should I expect to achieve privately.

Seem to be over barrel as I cant do without car for work but cant afford the new one without selling mine!!!

Slightly different car but maybe a guideline for you.

My Skoda dealer gave me £6000 for my 06 MK1 TDi Octy with 44K on clock and FSH.

Your price seems very reasonable for your car.

Part-ex £5500-6000, and private £7000-7500

(ish)

:)

From Glasses Guide

Excellent condition: £5720

Average condition: £5110

Below average condition: £4500

It must be in good nick or they have a good mark up on the new car.:)

I got £7k for my 53 Mk1 VRS this time last year. It had 30k on the clock and fully dealer service history. They then put it up at over 9k on their forecourt.
