thinking of buying a fabia vRS, need your help!

Featured Replies

Hi!

im going to look at a 2003 fabia vrs on saturday, has 96k on the clock. high numbers like that usually put me off cars unless they are stright 6's or V8, but have been told oil burners can cope!

the belt was changed around 60k, it has full skoda service history.

is there anything i should be aware of, or things that might need changing soon?

at the moment i've got a lexus gs300 with average 15mpg

any tips would be great! thanks!

welcome to briskoda mate, the tdi engines go very well if looked after and serviced so I don't expect any problems with them one of our members has 109000 miles on his vRS, have a wee look in the Fabia section for common problems.

Hope this helps

Barely run in, that! Have a search under 'Fabia tips' if you want some pointers for things to check...

And welcome, by the way! :)

Welcome mate

Welcome :)

The only thing that will passed is the floor mats if on the original ones :)

Welcome.

High mileage is fine.

I'm approaching the big 110k in mine in the next week. :D
