What mods have you got to get that?

  • Author

remap, panel filter, and tesco 99ron

So what do you think to the remap?

  • Author

so far the drivability ive been really impressed but the results on the rr arnt imo particularly amazing tbh, wont be changing it though.

I presume its a generic style map? Not too bad mate.

I got my RR session on Sunday...gulp.

  • Author

yeah generic map. the fuelling seemed to be bad towards top end of range but shall be taking printouts with me next time i pop in.

Which remap are you running?

Steve

The torque seems low, and knowing Charlie at Surry RR will also run the boost plot, what boost is it running across the plot???

  • Author

didn't run the boost plot would of asked if id known. a lot of the cars seemed to be running low tbh but still a disappointment.

its an APS map.

Nice one ,now i know what mines running!

why do you think the torque is down a bit, what should i be looking at torque wise after a remap? im thinking of taking printouts to APS and showing them as i have a 17705 fault atm aswell. is the AFR bit to low at the top end also? cant decided whether im happy or not tbh with the results.

lots of questions sorry!:)

If the fuelling (AFR) is out, then the map will also be out.

I would be looking for around 230/240 lb ft torque with a generic map and more with a custom map, as its torque that make the car better to drive and feel better.

Was this a cheap generic type map, or a decent priced one from a reputable tuner with a proven track record with independent graphs to show what would now be happening to your car after the remap.

Loads on here have gone down the cheap route and regretted it.

As with everything else in life, you get what you pay for.

Got it done by APS in brackley so assumed they'd be pretty good.

APS Web Page Link

went in and they wernt sure why it was leaning out towards the top end so its booked in for a fault finding mission and ill be changing the fuel filter asap to see if that helps.

APS are a good outfit, and I'm sure they can sort out any problems you might have.
