Featured Replies

I have now got a problem with the car holding back and spluttering on high revs.

Garaged has just replaced igntion coil 2

Any ideas? tried searching but cannot find any answers.

Thanks.

Have you had a before and after diagnostic scan done for fault codes?

Yes i was there when they did the diagnostics to diagnose it was the igniton coil 2.

But wasnt when they had completed changing the coil.

Is it possible for them to have not fitted it correctly?

Could be the spark plug.

Would the igntion coil knacker the spark plug? Was all fine 7pm yesterday!

Not sure mate to be honest.

Well im taking it back to him tonight... Just paid £72 for the dianostics and coil. Hope the fuel getting into the CAT isnt the problem.

No but an incorrectly gapped spark plug can and do blow coil packs.
