Just renewed insurance....

... with Brentacre. Great service as ever. Asked about Mods as I have one or two bits waiting to go on the car and was told I could do anything I liked to the car except increase horse power and my policy price wouldn't change. I was then told that induction kits, exhaust, dump valves, lowering were considered cosmetic mods so wouldn't increase my premium. All I have to do is tell them what I have done and all is well. With that kind of attitude it makes the need to do things on the sly and not tell your insurance about it completely pointless so everyone wins. (not that I'm suggesting that anyone would ever do that ;))

Still cost me £530 and I did have cheaper quotes (£40 cheaper) but you can't put a price on that kind of service and if you mention mods to may other companies they run a mile or double your premium.
