warning buzzer

Featured Replies

Has anybody had a warning buzzer go off while driving, it shows no indicator on the dash but sounds the same as the low fuel buzzer. I had it three times tonight while braking at slowish speeds and it sounds as though it is coming from the boot. Nothing was in the boot with a buzzer or sounder in it, so I can only assume it is coming from the car itself:confused:

Not sure whether to get it over to the dealer as it is still under warranty

handbrake buzzer?

I would say handbrake buzzer. Comes on after a bit of driving with the handbrake on, but not straight away.

Definitely the same noise but checked and def. off. Got my mate to check brake lights this morning he tells me ns is out. Not sure if it is related:confused:

Not bleeped at me this morning though.

hand brake should have a light on the dash though.

Might be worth just checking the brake fluid level, incase that is low. But iirc whenthat is low a light comes on on the dash (can't remember which)

With CANBUS, it is possible to enable the buzzer in a "lights failed" mode. So replace the failed bulb (it's illegal anyway), and check the brake fluid too.

Will replace the bulb and see if its gone quiet:thumbup:
