Mirror mirror on the wall

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Greetings from overseas, Belgium to be more specific... :D

I've just bought a Skoda Octavia (facelift) and I've got a small question for you: the mirrors I have now are the same size, but quite big.

I noticed that on "older" models (prior to the facelift) we have a big driver-mirror and a small passenger mirror...

Now, what I was wondering: since you guys have the steering wheel on the wrong side (just kidding :) ) do you have a small mirror on the passenger-side as well?

If that is the case, I would go for 2 small mirrors. I think it would improve the look.

Additional question: if it exists, does anybody has the partnumber for that smaller UK passenger-side mirror?

Cheers

Berre

Hi Berre and welcome

Unfortunately I have no idea in regard to the answer of your question. Others here might well reflect some light (pun intentional) on query!

Welcome, Berre. My post-facelift mirrors are both the same size, namely BIG. If there is such a thing as a small rhd passenger mirror, any fixing threads would of course be in inches rather than metric, and the controls would be reversed. (Just joking. :D)

Welcome.

I think Skoda has always fitted the larger mirrors on both sides. However I know VW fitted smaller passenger mirros to the Polo and Lupo which I think should be compatible.

No idea on part numbers though.

indeed, VW and audi have smaller mirrors on the passenger's side, both in the UK as in the rest of the world :D

that's why a lot of "german-style" tuning fanatics have 2 small mirrors...

I do think that skoda has the same thing, check this link out (thx to mannyo's site):
