it looks ok, but the interface looks basic.

Notice the lack of picture for the navigation function.

Hi T-1000 , I've been following the same forum and i had the same concern of the red leds and also the vw logo. But I just found the same unit with green leds and Skoda logo from the wholesaler.

ZHUHAI WITSON INDUSTRIAL CO.,LTD.

I messaged the wholesaler and there is a minimum of 10 to orderfor this unit

Also saw the navigation running Igo and found it looked impressive.

price for a group buy of ten?

After seeing that video, the interface is indeed very basic. The MP3 navigation is very simple, and uses 8.3 filenames which will make locating tracks difficult. The FM tuner also looks a bit dodgey, but the tv tuner seems ok.

Just received an e-mail from the wholesaler with pricing:

"Thanks for your emai.

The price of W2-D780S is USD458.00/unit with bluetooth+GPS (no map included) for 10pcs

the price is USD445.00/unit for 50pcs, the price is USD435.00/unit for 100pcs."

hope there is enough interest ,because for this price I will definetly get one.

I have ordered one and installed it. It is the vw/red button one though. I will put up pics very soon! Overall for £350 this is a serious bargain. Ok menus look basic but they work which is the main thing. The sound quality is equal if not better than my audience cd, ipod works great. And the DVD playback is fantastic. I have installed Igo navigation and it works great too so overall im very happy.
