Whats the carbonia? Also wats the CAI its buggin me that i don't know!!

Carbonio is a brand name, they make carbon fiber bits and pieces and CAI = Cold air intake (Basically an induction kit on the end of a pipe, works better then induction kit alone)

Mmm

There you go

Yes the Induction kit has the hose at the front of the car going on to a filter

The CAI is the filter at the front of the car , with the pipe then going on to the MAF

Thanks i felt stupid asking that question when i heard the answer!!:)

Suppose i purchases this induction kit (Golf GTI) how does it effect the sensors and the engine??

This is a Carbonio - the filter is down low behind the bumper:

It shouldn't affect any sensors but it will make induction and DV noises louder. Vrrrrmm Tschh!

Hey

The extra air flowing through will be detected by the MAF

That will adjust the lambda to adjust the fuelling to suit

So nothing extra needed there

The extra air as Rob has just said will make it a tad better on throttle response and then there is the extra noise that you will get with it too

Good luck with the purchase

Fitting can be a bit tricky too , but worth it

Sarah

That looks very good for the money, very similar to my ABD intake pipe. I'm a bit dubious of the air filter, but you could always sling on a universal K&N or Green afterwards.
