Lowering springs

Featured Replies

hiya folks, i have talked the mrs into lowering her fabia vrs, its going to be sprring as her money doesnt flow as easy to the car as mine :orb_beaut

ive found some spring options around the £100 marker like weitecs , but most of what i find are 20mm drops as they say its cos the vrs sits lower?

just thought id see if any of you have went with springs and if so how much lower does it make the car seem and do they they ride harsh?

cheers folks

Search here for Eibach Pro Kit springs. These are the best so far according to the most users here, including me. They lower 25mm and the ride isn't harsh at all. Good luck!

The Eibach's are great value and work very well - there has been some discussion about whether or not they will have an adverse effect on the OEM dampers after a fair few miles....

Eibachs and Koni FSD dampers = perfect! :D

dont supose anyone got pics of a fabia vrs lowered 25mm have they? does it notice? as my mrs seems to have big distane between arch n rim lol

Eibachs are what you want and no problem on OEM shockers. thats the setup im running.

They lower 25mm and are cheapest from Awesome at £135 (site sponsor on here)

Here are my pics, they are on 17's though so may be a little different to 16's but not by much as the rolling radius is much the same so in theory the arch gap should be the same between 16's and 17's

:(

There long gone

TT rims are the way forward

How much does it cost to get springs fitted roughly?

Depends on where you go, anywhere from £100-£300+ i'd say at a rough guess. You should have the wheel alignment checked afterwards.

Eibachs with koni dampers...
