Bought some fabia roof bars off the net (mont Blanc) they dont fit into the actual slots on the top of the car they clip onto the top of the door.. Have i ordered the right ones? im presuming these are still safe roof bars.

did they come with a foot pack? some retro-fit roof racks come with a rubber foot that sits on the roof then hooks into the top of the door frame.

yeah there the ones. They dont fit on very well at all. Ive rang the company and it looks like ive ordered the wrong ones :(. Got to pay for postage to send these back and the new ones to come out now. Getting the proper ones that actually slot into the roof bar slots of the roof.

I've seen quite a few of these around on the Fabia's and Octavia's. I don't think you will have much trouble with them, you might get some marks where the feet sit on the roof.
