TT 225 Turbocharger

Featured Replies

Doing a little looking around the net and found out that the Audi TT shares the same engine as a VRS mk1. I also read that the 225 version was same engine just a bigger turbo. so has anyone tried fitting one to there VRS mk1? I ask cos it has to be more power for same amount of money for a remap. Granted the ECU will need a tweak but I'm sure its easier then a whole new remap, and you get alot more power? any insight on if this would\wouldn't work would be great :D

do some searching theres plenty on this topic..

but the short answer is that it doesnt fit.

Ah right..... i will do but don't get much luck with the search on the site. :D

re the search

i will give you a clue

k04-001

It would be far more cost effective to just get a remap.

Or, go the whole hog and go for a bigger turbo conversion in the first place.

if a k04 is not a bigger turbo conv what is it?

Sorry, i should've said for the cost = gain factor, a remap would be more worthwhile than a K04 conversion (imo)

And if a large upgrade was wanted, an IHI conversion etc would be a better choice.
