Do I need a specific front bumper for the Octy mk1 VRS or will any old mk1 bumper fit?

Tried searching first but couldn't find anything.

Ive seen post facelift 2000/1 onwards Classics/Elegance models with vRS front bumpers so in theory they will fit, but I suppose a vRS would look 'plain' with a normal bumper.

Try this link, its mail order and he has a few vRS's for breaking including an Estate which looks to have a good front bumper.A bonus if you're after a black one too!

I emailed them about two weeks ago about that black vRS bumper - they told me they didn't have any vRS bumpers left! They appear to be like rocking horse **** to find second hand...

I got one in the end, but I'm having to drive to Birmingham to collect it!

Are used bumpers that much cheaper to be worth the hassle of travelling miles to get one? I had a new front bumper fitted and painted at the main dealer for around £400-£500 a few years ago. I am sure if I had bought the bumper new and had it fitted at an independent body shop it would have been cheaper still. Or have the price of new bumpers shot up recently?
