hi there, trying to get information on how to put the wires through the car. my old car was easy but the plastic bits are stopping me from pulling up the carpet...

It can either be run down the centre or the sides, which way are you trying to run it? I did mine with the drivers seat out [was fitting the screens at the time] so it was easy.

I did find however find that on my mpi, there was no 1st grommet, so if thats the case with you then you will have to resort to drilling the firewall or finding a different route.
