Hello everyone,

Just wondering if it was ok to use the engine oil I bought a year ago. I have one that was half used and another un-opended.

Has my engine oil degraded over the months it's been sitting in the can?

Someone will be along to advise you 'properly' - but from what I gather - yes it does degrade but 1yr should be OK.

I dont think it does.

I had Magnatec in my garage for a year, mixed some other oil with it and shoved it in my sisters Micra when it came to service time.

But I don't think it degrades.
