just asking your suggestions please because obviously the top picture would be alot better than my car. its just how can i make my induction kit have better cold air to it? would it make that much difference?

cheers boys and girls

My god that must be really sucking some nice hot air in

It should make quite a bit of difference on clean air flow for the engine to breath! (imagine how you would feel if you were breathing air from a hot hair dryer, compared to some nice, clean cold air)

where you think i can get the stuff from?

get a kit with a closed filter and air feed

Pretty much anywhere that sells performance parts! The top pic is a forced induction kit (similar to a PiperX, Viper) i kept seeing them in Halfrauds back in the day of owning a petrol motor but was always put off as you wouldn't here the throaty noise that a normal induction kit makes!

Or you could just go for the cold air feed if you're on a budget, :) Again have a search on t'internet/Flea Bay see whats available.

get some piping simular to the pipes that come off tumble dryers:P but in black ond probrably from B&Q or Homebase? and then wrap it over to the front:)

Yeah, its likley. Hot air is not good at all for sparks.

HTH. Dave.

IMHO I'd either stick the old air box back on or get a full forced induction kit! Totally upto you, although the cold air feed would certainly help your engine more than the way you have it atm!
