Constant "CD Error" display

Featured Replies

On my Mk2 Octavia everytime i put a CD in the player it reads "CD ERROR" and doesn,t play any of my CD,s even new ones.

Iam only using the CD,s in the mutlichanger now as the front dash CD player don,t work but it did last week.Do i take it that its defective now?

Not sure if it's the same as the Mk1?

When mine does this (Sometimes) I just take the cd magazine out and remove all the cd's and put them back in(Which at this point it works again)

Does anybody have any ideas/problem with this?

Try one of those cleaning CD's and see if it starts working again.

If not it's a warranty job.

After faffing around with the HU it still reads "CD Error" so i think i will need a new Stream Mp3 under warranty.
