Not starting when hot?

Featured Replies

Hi to all,My car a 2002 1.9 tdi fabia has started to become a pig to start when hot.It starts first turn when cold in the morning but if you go for a run and get it hot and then turn it off and try to start a few mins later it can take five or six turns.Any ideas what this could be.

Can you unplug the temperature sensor please, rear of the cylinder head gearbox end in the plastic waterways, then try and start it and let me know how quick it starts.

Please do this when the engine is hot and the issue is happening. Do NOT drive the car with teh sensor disconnected, this is just a test.

I feel I may be aware of your issue but need you to post back.

Greg.
