Service history

Featured Replies

Just had my serive history through today.............not happy, my car is now on 102k, last service was 90k and there is no evidence of a cambelt change, am i right in thinkin that the cambelt life is sposed to be sumthing like 4years/120k.

thinkin i might have to book it in at the stealership asap.

anyone got any advice on this?

cam belt is 60k miles or 4 years

I thought they had dropped it to 40k/4 years, but I am only a noob.

I thought this too :D

providing the belts were changed on time, you have another 18k to go before it needs doing again.

Ring the dealer(s) who serviced the car around the 60k mark and ask whether the belt was done, if there is no record of it being done then get it done asap.

Is there a mark against "toothed belt" in the service log, probably on the 60_000 plus or minus one service? If so, then that's the cambelt.
